Power of Attorney Document Authentication (In English Language)
- To grant power of attorney (PoA), your documents must be notarized by a public notary and authenticated by the Provincial Services Office in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, or Saskatchewan, depending on your province of residence.
- For residents of Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island, or Yukon, document authentication must be handled by Global Affairs Canada.
- For holders of valid Ethiopian passports, attach a copy of the passport and PR card.
- For holders of valid Ethiopian Origin ID cards, attach a copy of the passport and Origin ID card.
o The service fee is $62 (U.S. dollars) per document for each authentication, payable to the Embassy of Ethiopia by money order.
- For foreign citizens: A copy of a valid passport and ID card.
o The service fee is $95 (U.S. dollars) per document for each authentication, payable to the Embassy of Ethiopia by money order.

- For holders of valid Ethiopian Origin ID cards: copy of Origin ID card and passport
